Originally from South Australia, Greg grew up surrounded by wine culture and earned his Bachelor of Oenology from the University of Adelaide. From there, he worked at wineries in Australia, Burgundy, Italy, and Oregon before becoming the winemaker first at Grove Mill in Marlborough, New Zealand and later at Amisfield in Central Otago, New Zealand. Highly regarded within the New Zealand winemaking community, Greg was named New Zealand Young Winemaker of the Year in 2018. When not making wine, Greg loves cooking, backcountry hiking, and fishing around New Zealand.
