A light, flavorful bite that pairs beautifully with crisp, citrusy Sauvignon Blanc.
Ingredients
- 1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds
- 4 oz goat cheese
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme or chopped chives
- ½ tsp lemon zest
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet.
Brush with olive oil and bake for 8–10 minutes until golden.
In a bowl, mix goat cheese, honey, thyme, lemon zest, salt, and pepper until creamy.
Spread onto toasted crostini and drizzle with extra honey if desired.
Why It Works: The acidity and citrus notes in Sauvignon Blanc cut through the richness of the goat cheese, while the herbs enhance the wine’s bright flavors.
